Vintage Elegance Meets English Garden

Vintage Elegance Meets English Garden
I am a person that loves aspects about every style of fashion.... country, modern, vintage, steam punk, leather & lace combination, you name it I like aspects of all of them! When I found out that I got to incorporate a few different styles into this wedding I was so excited. The colors of this wedding were Blue & purple hues with white accents & they were going for a vintage feel mixed with a touch of modern fashion forward edge.

To start the guests off in their journey of this love story they walk in to the church to see the vintage guest book table set up with an old vintage suitcase from the Brides' great grandfather that we used for the card box with pictures from the couple's parents weddings & one of their engagement pictures in the center to tie them together. Beautiful old dollies were placed inside the suitcase & decorated the table.

I was beyond excited to be able to find a ceremony site in our area that would allow me to have a little freedom in what I wanted to do, & thus I FINALLY had the chance to do the rose petal aisle runner as I have always wanted to do - and I think it turned out beautiful.

We also had fresh hydrangeas placed on each pew bow that was on every other pew bringing the English Garden inside.

When the guests entered into the reception they were swept away with the lush, lavish, tall, centerpieces that were reminiscent of the English Garden with hydrangeas that the guests had seen at the ceremony, to the vintage feel with the baby's breath, & white crystal candelabras. Our up lighting completely transformed the venue when we lit up the walls in their wedding colors & to modernize the old traditional banner that used to hang on the walls of every wedding reception we had their monogram shining on the wall for all to see.

The tall baby's breath centerpieces made a big impact in the room & had the feel of vintage that the couple were looking for.

When you sit at one of these tables you can't help but feel a bit like you are sitting in an old English garden amongst the fragrant purple roses, the big beautiful blooms of the hydrangeas & the airy baby's breath.

Walking around the vintage English garden reception you seen many little details that pull everything together like the lace covered mason jars with the candle light shining through or the lace on the vases that held the bride & bridesmaids bouquets.

Even the lamp that welcomed you at the door was covered in delicate lace & dripping crystals

Walking throughout the room this is the experience you would have taken in as a guest at this wedding.
